A Stitch in Time
This is Abby with her quilt that my quilting partner Carol and I made. Please pray for Abby and her family and that the Lord will give the doctors wisdom to keep her alive as long as He wills.

Thank you!

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen....But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

The Rest of Feb Sewing Projects

My Initial challenge (with N2Quilting group) top is finished. I decided to make it wall or lap size.

Here is a purse I made. The pattern was free from Connecting Threads

This is a top I finished from lottery and Charity blocks from my TBLovers 2 group. The top is going to the LA quilter and then to the Children's Home. I love the way the block combination makes your eye dance.

in Pink and Teal

And last I have been working on my Thimbleberries Hometown Christmas Quilt. It was this quilt project that got me started into blogging. I am almost finished with the top. This month I finished the last three sections, sewed the sashing, first dark border and the rail border. It is awaiting its finial border.

2009 Are you Sure?

I can't believe we are already in the year 2009. Where has the time gone? It is day 9 of January. Whew!

Well here are some pictures of things I've made so far this year.

This is a bag I made from Pat Sloans pattern I found while reading her blog at

The next is my blocks for a BOM by Nancy Rink.
Mine is in pink and teal. These worked up pretty fast.

Pattern can be found at: http://www.nancyrinkdesigns.com/free.html

Next are a couple of blocks I'm doing with an online group.

Last, but not least is my scarf. I just finished it today. I crocheted it from silk yarn I bought from my friend Nikki who lives in TN. She has an Etsy store you can find and buy her recycled yarn at: http://my7kids.etsy.com/

Some of my time has been spent visiting blogs with givaways found through http://www.whirlintowinter.blogspot.com/
Maybe you can enter some too!
