I won!

Blog Hop Party with Give-Aways I won a couple of patterns and a kit during the Blog Hop Party.

The first pattern I won was for being the hundreth follower of Marlene Baerg Oddie's blog http://kissedquilts.blogspot.com and I get to be a tester for it as soon as the pattern is written up; it is the heart quilt pictured here with two of Marlene's other quilts. And if I get the top done in time there is an additional gift.

Next I won this Messenger Tote kit

  from  Francine at  http://mochawildchild.blogspot.com/

And today I found out I won this lovely pattern

isn't it pretty. It is from http://gatewayquiltsnstuff.blogspot.com/ and designed by Toby Lischko.

Thank you Marlene, Francine and Toby for the lovely prizes.

Pay It Forward

A new blogger friend is having a " Pay it Forward" I thought it would be fun, maybe meet some new friends, and encourage me to post more often.

So here are the rules:

Rules:
1. I will make a little something for the first 3 people that comment on this post. It will be a surprise and may arrive at any time in the next 365 days (yes, a year).

2. To sign up to receive a gift from me you must play along too. Share the giving love on your blog by promising to send a handmade goodie to the first three people that comment on your blog post.

3. You must have a blog.

4. After commenting on my post, you have to post this (or similar) on your blog to spread the love. If you haven't posted in 48 hours then the next commentor will be chosen.

I don't know if three people will even get around to commenting on this, but I will say that if you find this post 6 months from now and only 2 people have left a comment, you can still be commenter #3 and get a random goodie from me! When you comment, I'll email you and get your address and then you will get something from me sometime before December 2012!

Merry Christmas!

Thimbleberries Safe Haven Quilt

I did this quilt with my local quilting TB/Moda Bee. We decided to make the Safe Haven quilt as our group project for 2011.  I used Thimbleberries fabrics from my stash (at least I think all the fabric is TB). This is the largest quilt that I have machine quilted. I actually had it half quilted  when I decided I did not like the way the quilting was turning out and I took out the quilting on 4 of the houses and redid them. I am very happy with the results.
