Quilts, Blocks & More

Here are a few pictures of things I've been working on the last couple of months. The first is a baby quilt for my soon to be born Grand son. Look closely, the border quilting has dog leashes made from beige grossgrain ribbon.

Next is a memory quilt. My TBLovers group ladies sent me 6" HOF (hearts of friendship) blocks. After my step dad died. Earlier this month Kim our group leader gave me a nudge to make the blocks into a quilt.

Next is another Shadow Trapunto mini quilt I designed and made using Geta's method. And a very small sample I made to show the steps.

Here are some HOF I've made for others in my group. Sometimes we do make other shapes. The house is one.
Also some lottery blocks for TBLovers2.
Next are some post cards I made for a swap in FLS.
Theme was Garden.
This is my block for July for the Thimbleberries Moda bee Challenge.
On Tuesday my car was hit with the quick cart a Wal-Mart. It will be getting fixed shortly.

And a picture of my precious grandson.

I am reminded of the words in a song...
Count your Blessings, Name them one by one; Count your many blessings, See what God hath done;
I have many and even more that I do not know about.

Your grandson is precious INDEED and blessed to have you as one of his earth angels!

I love that hymn, Count your Blessings. It's a good one to keep running through one's mind.

Tina, This is the first time I have been on your blog. You have some beautiful quilts on here. Of course I love my post card I got from you. Among the beautiful quilts the precious baby. Enjoyed the sight thanks for sharing. Carolyn Mathis ccmathis5@gmail.com
