The quilt I have chosen as my favorite is called
"Winters aren't Blue".
(Blue as in sad)
This quilt had many firsts. One was that I had joined a Quilt Bee. I didn't even know that any bees existed anymore. The fellowship of quilters was great. One of the projects of the group was that a quilt pattern was given out each month and members were to make the block. Wow this made me try new techniques. I also wanted to make a mostly blue and white quilt. I had 
learned a new technique in a quilt class my 1st ever quilt class, on invisible machine applique.

I used antique linens for the 1st time
and fussy cut and sharp star points
And pieced back.

It looks great - I love sampler quilts for the variety they offer. Make a small block and move on to the next. The butterfly is adorable as well.
